After graduating from Derby University with a first-class honours degree in textile design, I worked as a designer at Trimmings by Design Ltd. for 20 years, gaining a wealth of experience, working with high-end interior designers and fabric companies. In 2020 I joined my brother, Peter, in his furniture and interiors shop and continued to develop my interior design skills, working with customers to achieve the beautiful rooms they dreamed of.

In 2022 we decided to close the retail premises, so that Peter could concentrate on his other business interests, and I could fulfil my ambition to create a company specialising in affordable interior design.

I now work from my studio in Long Eaton, helping clients choose from a large library of fabric and wallpaper books, creating mood-boards and also providing CAD images to help clients visualise their schemes. Recent projects include both domestic and retail interiors and designing a dramatic lighting display in an entrance hall.

As well as interior design, I love creating interior textiles such as lampshades, cushions and throws, meaning that I can offer bespoke accessories that co-ordinate perfectly with your interior scheme. My interior textiles business, Eleanor & Isabella was started during the year I spent in Australia and is named after my niece and my great great grandmother.
